The Role

As the Warehouse material handler at Veev, you will be responsible for executing all shipping, receiving, warehousing, material conveyance, and inventory management operations in Hayward, California.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the cycle count plan provided by your team lead and or supervisor
  • Maintain a well-organized warehouse with all materials identifiable, inventoried, accessible, and countable.
  • Execute on procedures, standards, and equipment facilitated by your supervisor and or team leader to enable safer and more efficient work.
  • Complete auditable records: packing slips, pick lists, and shift handoff paperwork.
  • Deliver materials from the warehouse to the manufacturing line when needed
  • Follow standard work documentation, training, attendance, overtime, and process adherence
  • Ensure prompt, efficient, and accurate handling of materials
  • Ensure on-time receipts and follow your team lead and or supervisor's guidance on logging PO discrepancies or missing PO material
  • Drive Results - Maintains inventory accuracy and control; reviews reports provided by the supervisor
  • Supports the Supervisor on Metrics: safety, cycle count results, material shortages, % of CC accuracy, and downtime in minutes.

Qualifications

  • Experience with various Warehouse Management Systems.
  • NS and RF preferred
  • Self-motivated, positive, and a team player.

  • Ability to perform repetitive duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success.
  • Open availability to work all shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Warehouse experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Forklift certification.
