The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead and grow our real estate sales operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a high-performing team, and achieving revenue targets in alignment with the company's objectives. This is a pivotal role for a results-driven professional with a passion for real estate and a proven track record in sales leadership.
Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for business growth.
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales professionals, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement. The team is initially outside realtors and brokers. Eventually this team can be brought in-house, at which time the Sales Director will define and grow the organization.
- Set clear goals and KPIs for the sales team and monitor performance regularly.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Build upon and leverage Lennar relationships including: Lennar, LenX, Lennar Mortgage, Lennar Title, Hippo and others.
- Oversee negotiations and ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle.
Sales Operations:
- Oversee the creation and execution of sales plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to track and improve performance.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in real estate transactions.
Marketing Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to design and implement campaigns that drive lead generation and brand awareness.
- Provide insights on market positioning and promotional strategies.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Drive innovation to enhance sales processes and customer experiences.
Skills
- Experience:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience in the real estate industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Preference for new home sales experience.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Certifications:
- Relevant real estate licenses or certifications in California

Compensation
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $180,000 - $220,000 annually for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas.
