The Role

Veev is in need of a skilled finance analyst to support our R&D organization. This role will help R&D with product roadmap planning - sizing and forecasting financial implications of future product changes.

Responsibilities

  • Support all R&D functions - Product, Engineering, and Manufacturing and Site Engineering
  • Size financial implications of future product changes (i.e. material substitutions). Product changes have implications on materials, labor, and third-party expenses
  • Provide traditional industry comparables for various aspects of the home (i.e. exterior cladding)
  • Intimately understand our very complicated bill of materials (BOM), track its cost, and provide report outs frequently
  • Support Product and Engineering with headcount and spend forecasts
  • Assess return on CAPEX investment, and determine rent vs. buy of equipment
  • Publish Budget vs. Actuals and Engineering KPI reporting
  • Other finance and reporting projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from a top university
  • 2-5 years of corporate Finance or Investment Banking experience. Experience in technology, real estate development, or manufacturing industries a plus
  • A self-starter and confident individual with a keen eye for detail and can work in a fast-paced environment and eager to learn
  • Exceptional experience in analytics and financial modeling; strong Excel skills are required
  • Works well in a team environment, and can both take and give direction in working towards a common set of goals

Compensation

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $115,000 - $130,000 annually for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas.
