Veev is looking for a highly motivated mechanical associate with a high level of knowledge in Solidworks to work for our American-Israeli start-up company, in our Tel Aviv office.

This position in our Digital Twin department, entails being part of the team leading the development & coordination of the project, building of the project 3D models from initial model development until fully detailed for fabrication and assembly in SolidWorks.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create SolidWorks models with a very high level of detailing and precision, with full design coordination with all other disciplines, according to the Veev standards and methods.
  • Develop detailed design to manufacturing drawings using Solidworks - from 3D reference design & initial model development to fabrication drawings.
  • Coordinate and consult with other team members to model, layout, or detail components and implement Veev innovative solutions into the project models.
  • Work with product managers on POCs, and create various prototypes and mock-ups.
  • Participate in the development and design of new product features.


Requirements, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • B.Sc. or Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a certificate from a known establishment in a relevant field.
  • Proficient user with 2-3 years of proven recent SolidWorks experience.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on organization, methodical with strong technical abilities.
  • Ability to develop and implement ideas with minimal guidance.
  • Must be able to work well with others as a team in a highly collaborative, dynamic work environment.
  • Must be able to exercise independent judgment using technical knowledge within the role, and have the ability for learning independently.
  • Very Good English: written and spoken.

Advantages:

  • Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) level of competency with SOLIDWORKS software.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods (CNC, sheet metal).
  • Experience with PLM systems, engineering changes, BOM structuring, etc.
  • Knowledge of PDM.
