As a STR Engineer in the Production Team, you will play a key role in implementing technological solutions designed by R&D and further developed by the Design team and translating them into a precise, fully coordinated 3D Fabrication Package. You will validate ARC design, integrate solutions across design and construction teams, communicate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative results, and to constantly improve our processes and products.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain highly detailed, coordinated BIM Revit and SolidWorks 3D models, fully integrated with Structural and MEP disciplines, in collaboration with in-house teams.
  • Develop documentation, including permit sets, shop drawings, and construction plans, from CAD and MCAD models.
  • Coordinate and detail building elements for factory production and on-site construction.
  • Assist with schematic design changes and layout adjustments based on Veev’s standards and methods.
  • Support validation of BIM solutions and manage the transfer of information between Revit and SolidWorks.
  • Develop and maintain project templates, browser structures, and BIM methodologies.
  • Provide updates to the team lead and key stakeholders on task progress and deliverables.
  • Contribute to a smooth and efficient release to the fabrication process, ensuring solutions are fully resolved and ready for fabrication.
  • Support Fab and B&I teams during the First build of a new product version
  • Support sustaining Engineering during the entire lifecycle of the product version
  • Support the entire project lifecycle as needed.
  • Ensure compliance of the Production Team’s deliverables with Design Team’s design intent.

Requirements, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of practical experience in structural design and construction methods.

  • Good structural analysis skills and knowledge of materials and construction techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, BIM environments.
  • Excellent understanding of the impact of structural details on ARC and MEP.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on organization, methodical with strong technical abilities.
  • Experience in creating fabrication drawings and detailed construction sets.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling clear and effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities, with a proven track record of working effectively in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with SolidWorks modeling techniques and PDM.
  • Experience with Cold-Formed Steel frame design.
  • Familiarity with US standards for submittals, plans, and calculation packages.
  • Experience with digital fabrication techniques and their integration into Revit workflows.
