The Role

Process Technicians will work with Process/ Manufacturing Engineers to set up the physical and systematic flow of processes to the line. This role requires a challenging mix of hands-on work, solving problems, validation and driving solutions with cross-functional teams.

As a Process Technician, you will represent the Process/ Manufacturing engineering in executing the processes designed for the production operations team. You’ll be on the front line between the process changes and full implementation with production training.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain good professional communication with different departments/stakeholders to maintain alignment and achieve common goals
  • Validate processes that solve for: safety / ergonomics, productivity, transacting accuracy, repeatability validation, and understanding of material flow process
  • Write work instructions and training documents created by Engineers. Conduct training for new hires
  • Capable of capture performing standardized work for all of the stations safely and within takt
  • Validation and evaluate equipment requirements by process
  • Help validate all major facets of the launch (Systems, tooling, labels, racks etc.)
  • Work with Manufacturing and Process Engineering and work-station design to execute and implement 5S practices (floor taping, visual signages, etc as required by the team)

Qualifications

  • Able to switch between 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift to support company needs
  • Comfortable asking questions and getting feedback
  • Great communication skills
  • Must be able to work overtime
  • Experience with and / or be able to learn key systems/programs
  • Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Zoom, Jira, and other systems used in Production.
  • Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Shift Information

There will be a week of training under the day shift. Candidates MUST be able to work third shift to be considered for this opportunity. This opportunity will also require occasional weekend work.

Day Shift - 5am - 1:30pm (week of training)

Third Shift - 9pm-5:30am

Compensation

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $30-$40 hourly + shift differential for second and third shift for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas.
